Dear partners and node operators, as one of requirements for v10, all nodes will have to migrate from goleveldb to pebbledb. We would like for everyone to slowly start migrating so there is not a rush later on.

Some important informations for the pebbledb migration:

• you can set the value to pebbledb in config.toml

• newly initialized nodes on v9.04 and later will automatically start with pebbledb

• snapshot providers such as Itrocket, Krews, Polkachu and many otheres are already supporting pebbledb

• there is a migration script available to migrate as well: https://github.com/celestiaorg/celestia-app/tree/main/tools/migrate-db

• for archival nodes, the migration via script takes about a week (if its on Nvme), otherwise, Qubelabs has an archival snapshot on pebbledb already.
